Thank you so much for your interest in sharing your wedding with A Northwoods Wedding readers! We love sharing beautifully unique Midwest weddings with our audience. In order to preserve fresh ideas, A Northwoods Wedding prefers to feature content that has not yet been published on another blog, though we will cheerfully accept submissions that have been published in print.
WHAT TO SEND:
When submitting work, please include at least 50 unwatermarked web sized photos 650 px wide or a link to your own personal blog post or online gallery. Include photos of details, portraits, ceremony, and reception images. We love the ease of using dropbox to attain your images. Submissions for publication may be addressed to info@anorthwoodswedding.com.
INFO TO INCLUDE:
Make sure to send a list of the wedding day vendors with their website links formatted as we do at the bottom of our posts. We want to give credit to every creative artist so be sure to collect this information prior to sending your images to ANW. We also love to know the inspiration behind the wedding day, things to include: DIY projects, favorite memories, unique experiences, and any advice you have for future brides.
We need details on the wedding you would like to feature. Please include vendors, designers, and creative talent so that we can credit them as well! Please note, we do our best to respond to each and every submission. However, due to the high volume of submissions, please allow 2-4 weeks for response.
We’re always on the hunt for great real weddings with Midwest style images and thoughtful details. We also publish engagement sessions, however, we lean towards real midwest weddings to feature.
Thank you for considering A Northwoods Wedding!
We look forward to working with you!

My husband ended up going with something similar to image number two. A classic, linen Calvin Klein suit. I thought he looked hot sizzle. Best part is that for around $50 more we were able to buy it versus renting a cheap polyester version. A great investment in my book. Now if only I could get him to wear it again. Maybe on our anniversary.
