I got to know Dexter and Clare in college at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. I had many classes with Dexter though out college and also shared the same internship experience with the Fargo Force our senior year. I have gotten to know Clare through Dexter and many other mutual friends though out the college years. It has been fun to see their love grow in college and then be able to have the honor to support them on their special day. We started off with the girls getting ready in South Fargo at a salon and then moved to the church in downtown Fargo.
I tend to think First Looks say it all when it comes to how much the couple loves each other. With Dexter and Clare, the first look was a beautiful moment almost straight from a movie. It was a moment that you could tell Dexter adores Clare and Clare loves Dexter to pieces. This is a moment I live to photograph every wedding and this one makes me look forward to even future ones, that I am so honored to be apart of. My favorite part of the day is when Clare started singing during the ceremony to Dexter – Dexter didn’t have a clue this was in the plan! It brought tears to almost everyones eyes: the groom, bridesmaids, parents, grandparents and yes even the photographer! Another one of my favorite parts of the day was Dexter’s speech at the reception. He had a great speech recognizing both sets of parents, thanking the guests and sharing his love for Clare with everyone. After the ceremony, the wedding party jumped on the party bus and headed to the Ramada for the dinner and dance. It was a WONDERFUL day and night. I wish Dexter and Clare nothing but the best wishes and ever-lasting love for their future!
