it doesn’t get better than this.

you guys. this wedding. we’re almost speechless we love it so much. there is something so warm, inviting, and completely lovely about a barn wedding and this one takes the cake. captured perfectly by Brian Bossany, Annie and Geof’s happiest day took place this past summer in wisconsin where they said I do in rustic romance dream. a stunning outdoor ceremony, a barn adorned in cafe lights and a sparkling chandelier, a game of touch football, and an unbelievable fireworks show, this wedding is pure magic. take a look for yourself and then read Annie’s account of her best day ever.

Words from the Bride:

Our wedding day was absolutely amazing! Everything from the vendors, to the weather, the the flow of the day went off without a hitch, we could not have been more happy! My husband and I did a “first look” because of time constraints after the ceremony and it was the best choice for us! We both had crazy nerves before hand that were put at ease as soon as we were able to see and be with each other. After that, it was game on. Literally! We played football during our wedding party pictures!! The ceremony was beautiful. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was our “Love Time Capsule” box in place of a Unity Candle or Unity Sand. We each had written a letter to each other the night before and sealed it and placed it in the box along with a bottle of wine. During the ceremony we each took a turn nailing the box shut. The idea is that on our first anniversary we will open it up and read our letters to each other and drink the wine! Then reseal it with a new set of letters and wine for the next year!! I can not wait to read his letter and we’re only 3 three months in!! 🙂 After the ceremony Geof and I and our wedding party jumped on a wagon ride to start the celebrations! It was the perfect way to spend some quality time with Geof and really take everything in before spending the rest of the evening celebrating with all of our family and friends. Plus it was a blast because we had our best friends there starting the party with us!! The loft in the barn was where we had our dinner and it turned out so soo gorgeous! It was exactly how I had pictured it! And the food the was delicious!! After the dinner, we had the JTF Party Band play outside in a tent. They were so much fun! It was a pretty crisp night, so people kept warm by dancing the night away or huddling up beside one of the fire pits! We also had a fireworks show that really capped the night off!! As a little girl, you grow up dreaming about your wedding day and I can honestly say that our wedding was better than I could ever have imagined (it probably helps that I enjoyed it with my best friend and love of my life!) We had the most amazing vendors, I would recommend every single one of them to anyone! And Geof and I are so so blessed, with the best family and friends in the world. My only wish is that I could relive it, it went so fast!!!

The barn is privately owned by their family, but it’s located in Menomonie, Wisconsin! Stunning, isn’t it?!
