Minnesota Engagement from Erin Johnson Photography

Terra and Drake are incredible, but we were captivated with the way he asked her to marry him. Terra said it best: The way that Drake proposed was absolutely perfect. I love reminiscing about things and talking about our favorite memories together. He knows this about me, and had this be the basis of his proposal. I came home from work on a random Friday night and when I opened up the door, there were candles everywhere with our favorite songs playing and ribbons strung throughout the condo. The first ribbon was connected to a sign hanging in front of me with a letter from him. It told me to follow each ribbon and to not skip any steps. Each “stop” would recap our amazing journey together, and the last stop would lead to an awesome ending. I was SO excited! Drake wasn’t in the room, so I started following the ribbons and reading each letter that they led to. Drake had written me love letters that were dated from some of our favorite memories. When I got to the last one, it just had a big question mark on it. I opened up the door that it was attached to, and Drake was there ready to propose. Erin Johnson Photography captured their story best and spent the day sharing in their joy!
