This styled shoot was entirely inspired by fall in Alaska and planned in less than a week! We wanted to capture the essence of fall in Alaska. By the lakeside at Eklutna Lake with beautiful fall colors. We arranged for later in the evening to make the most of the newfound darkness signaling that winter was near. The charcuterie board featured fresh-picked Alaskan berries. And a florist friend foraged us some beautiful birch branches with fall colors.

We incorporated a local cake artist for a fall-themed cake. Also a favorite local Alaskan winery. The canoe with the mountain backdrop was the icing on the cake of this magical evening at Eklutna Lake!
