the wedding we proudly get to show you today is probably the epitome of everything ‘northwoods.’ this lovely couple had a destination wedding in Michigan over the summer and we’re so glad razvan photography wanted to share their images with us.
emily and matt were married at a private residence on the AuSable river and we could go on and on about just the gorgeous cabin alone! though it truly was emily and matt that stole the show. they wanted their small, intimate wedding to center around their close family, friends, and the celebration of their new union as husband and wife. using their rustic surrounding as inspiration, they hosted one of the most fun and relaxing weddings we’ve seen. wood driven details, lovely patio lounge areas, and a bonfire, matt and emily’s wedding was the perfect summer event. yet the most important part? the fact that they zeroed in on what was most important to them–their friends, family, and the love between the two of them. it doesn’t get any better than that.
This lovely destination wedding was at a private residence in northern Michigan. The whole wedding theme revolved around having a great celebration with very close friends and family. It was amazing to see the love that surrounded the bride and the groom and I was fortunate to be there to document their day. The cabin was on the AuSable river which is one of the best rivers for trout fly fishing. It is considered one of the best brown trout fisheries east of the Rockies and has been designated a blue ribbon trout stream by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources – according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
