Backyard Wisconsin Wedding from Beyond Imagination Photography

Looking for the perfect venue for your special wedding day? Look no further than mom and dad’s house! Lisa knew that she wanted to marry her sweetheart back where she was raised. The town of Waupaca served as a special place for them and their summers spent dating. adorned with tons of DIY projects and a whole lot of family involvement, these two said I do in front of the lens of Beyond Imagination Photography. We love the details, the tent, the ice cream, and pop of blue.  The love that is coming right from the home where Lisa was raised.

From the Bride: 
Our wedding took place in Waupaca, WI where I grew up. I have been bringing Dave there every summer since we have been dating and it holds many special memories for us. I had always wanted to get married in a tent at my parents house & that dream came true last summer. 
 
My mom is an interior designer at Stange’s in Waupaca and she & Linda Parker (another designer from Stange’s) helped Dave and I plan & create a beautiful reception venue from scratch in the tent. We did a lot of DIY projects from the handmade light fixtures, to the bar signs to the center pieces. The venue was truly a reflection of our personalities! Linda created all the floral arraignments including the bouquets. Mine was made with dahlias that my grandpa spent all spring & summer growing.
 
We aren’t big cake people so we decided to serve ice cream to our guests which was a big hit on a hot summer day. We also asked guests “what song will get you out on the dance floor” on the RSVP cards in order to put together a playlist that would get everyone dancing and it worked, everyone was out on the dance floor until the wee hours of the night! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate our love!
