New to the windy city, Katie and Patrick wanted to show off Chicago, their new home, in their engagement photos to show friends and family. The couple dressed perfectly for the fall engagement session in Lincoln Park captured by Ashley Biess Photography. We love Katie’s bright, cherry-red sweater that she paired with jeans and riding boots. The vibrant color popped perfectly against the golden fall tones of the season. In her second outfit, Katie created a layered look including a navy blue puffy vest that complimented the blue and grey tones of the Chicago skyline – brides, take notes. The couple even adorned matching sweaters from Nantucket, the place where Patrick proposed to Katie, to celebrate the memory of the moment. Katie and Patrick are young and in love, and were full of so much excitement and happiness during the session… and we can feel it jumping right from our screens.
