Their love story, told by the bride:
We are high school sweethearts who have gone to school together since kindergarten with many mutual classes. We are both from Midland but now live in Sparta. Jacob proposed to me on Pyramid Point on the Sleeping Bear Dunes lakeshore on a cold snowy November day. We went up north for a day getaway and after he proposed upon the top of the dune his sister and some of our friends along with our dog came out of the woods. They were able to get pictures and videos of that moment.
Favorite wedding day memory:
Our favorite memory for the day would be seeing each other for the first time walk down the aisle. Also, having most of our family and friends to gather and celebrate our special day.
Biggest wedding planning frustration?
COVID 19 was the biggest frustration for the wedding. We had to change venues and catering along with lots of other little details for our big day a month prior to the wedding. It was very emotional and stressful to get everything done in time for it to be perfect.
Their experience with Fourniers Fine Art Photography
Leidy and Josh were so awesome to work with. They are so kind and easy-going which made it easy to work with them. They planned very well for the day with all the little details and timelines. They were there anytime My husband and I needed something. They did a great job coordinating all of the family pictures as well to ensure we stayed on time.
How did they choose their wedding venue?
We found out our venue was unable to accommodate us due to COVID 19 one month prior to our wedding and we had to scramble to find a new venue. Our family friends offered their beautiful home on 30 acres of land to have our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. They have a beautiful pond that we were able to have our ceremony and reception overlook along with a wooded backdrop.
