Romantic Forest Wedding COVID Session in California
A couple that got married during the Pandemic, yet they couldn’t have professional photos taken. So they planned an amazing forest session with Liv Schultheis. This way they got some amazing couple of photos in their wedding attire! Photos they deserved! Covid had put a wrench in things, but there are still ways to get amazing forest wedding photos!
How did they meet?
Jonathan and Mary met at church. They became good friends through their interests in music.
Jonathan surprised Mary at her favorite beach (Capitola in Santa Cruz) on the pier with her friends and family. Mary just thought it was a normal girls’ day out, she was completely surprised!
What was their biggest frustration planning their wedding day?
Dealing with all the cancellations that came from getting married the day after COVID was declared a national emergency. Our reception venue canceled on us the day before the wedding (plus many guests!) but thankfully our ceremony still went on!
Wedding photos are a huge part of any wedding, but because of all of the cancellations that happened to us, we weren’t able to have the photo shoot that we wanted. Liv was able to give us back that experience. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would definitely recommend her!
Advice for couples planning their day!?
Remember that your wedding is just ONE day. Although a very important day, the real romance is found when you two persevere in love and commitment to each other for the rest of your lives.
Tell us about the bride and her gorgeous dress!
After DIY-ing some of her wedding flowers, Mary eventually decided to start her own floral business called FloretBeginnings. As a florist, she desires to use flowers to show God’s love and beauty to friends and family (and of course, other brides!) She found her wedding dress at Trudy’s in the clearance section and couldn’t be happier–what a steal!
