Elopement Inspiration in Utah with two beautifully tattooed brides!

Utah has exploded with popularity! So many are flocking to the state for their elopements! I have to agree that Utah Elopements are amazing! This stunning elopement inspirational shoot in Utah was inspired by the Fall Colors! Siena and Heather were planning an amazing elopement for the year, but Covid happened. This shoot was a beautiful way for them to get dressed up and celebrate! Love how each outfit showcased their tattoos!

The beautiful bell-sleeved gown and the full black attire and cuffed sleeves were an amazing modern touch! Since they were a real couple they read letters to each other. During which they couldn’t help but tear up! This is why I think it’s so important to use real couples for styled shoots. You are able to capture creative images along with getting real emotion!

The couple’s story, told from the amazing couple themselves!

“I (Siena) was in Utah temporarily for a clinical and two weeks before I was supposed to go back to New York. I met Heather on a dating app. We like to say we met hiking because that was our first date. I guess I fell pretty hard because a few short months later I moved permanently back to Utah.

Proposal story:

Heather would ask me every day, “will you marry me?” And I would always say no ???? I had just graduated from college and was saving money to buy her the perfect ring. For a few months, she’d ask me every day and I kept saying no, so it kind of just became a joke. When I finally purchased the ring, I would carry it around with me taking pictures of her and the ring when she was doing the dishes, working out, and I even tried it on her finger one night when she was asleep. She had no idea. I documented it all. When the big day came, we were back in the Adirondacks in NY where I grew up. We planned a hike and my photographer

A friend was supposed to be waiting at the summit to take our picture when it happened.

Unfortunately, the trail was flooded from down pouring rain the day we planned to go. And by the time we got to the top my friend had left! We were the only ones on the summit which is usually crowded with hikers, snow falling, and clouding our view. We love the song “This Is It” by Scotty McCreery, especially the lines “ on top of the world here together… looking out I can see forever.” The summit had a forever view but with the snow, We could only see forever in the eyes of each other.

When she turned around and saw me on my knee she couldn’t even believe it- I think about all those days of me saying no, she didn’t believe me. And then I got to show her the hundreds of pictures of me trying to propose to her- all those sneaky pictures I took with the ring (to match her hundred of times asking me)- all she needed to do was turn around ????”

Favorite memory modeling during the shoot?

“Our favorite memory of the styled shoot was actually getting nervous/tearing up at the fake vows that were written for us in the car ride over- and obviously loving on each other all day”

Biggest frustration so far planning?

“Our biggest frustration while wedding planning was probably just dealing with COVID. We had to change our wedding day because of so many guests coming from New York. Trying to decide when to postpone or how to accommodate if choosing not to do it in 2020 ????????‍♀️”

Their experience at the shoot and with Brenda and Ariel?

“We ABSOLUTELY LOVED working with Brenda and Ariel! They are honestly just really cool people as individuals and as a couple which made working with them a blast. They were creative with their cues to stimulate the most genuine emotions which were beautifully portrayed through their photography and videography. Their passion for their profession was so obvious from the second we met them. We love their work!”

Photographer’s favorite memory from this day?

This is a real and genuine couple for this Inspirational Utah Elopement. Their love was undeniable and they are just a perfect fit! They made it so easy to capture their love and we had a lot of fun! Our favorite moments were making them laugh when they were whispering their dog’s name as sexy as they can in each other’s ear, throwing leaves above them making it so magical, and them just being themselves and showing a forever love in front of the cameras!
