Falls Park Engagement Session with Waterfalls in North Carolina
A beautiful warm fall October engagement session in North Carolina at Falls Park. This couple was all smiles throughout their session! They picked out outfits that were complementary and perfect for the photographer’s editing style.
From the Bride:
“I think what makes our relationship special is that we are best friends. We both love the same music, movies, and food. And we always enjoy our time together, whether it’s sitting at home on the couch or out doing something fun. One of our favorite things to do is sit on our porch and enjoy a cup of coffee. I knew he was the one when I first told him I loved him. When we first met, it was as if we had known each other forever. The conversations flowed so easily and it was so easy to talk to each other. I always knew I wanted to marry my best friend and as soon as he became that I knew he was the one.”
Their engagement story:
Austin proposed to Lauren at Greenville, SC Falls Park. He got all her friends involved to surprise her. She had no idea. They all just went out for a casual brunch (which is very normal for them) and then went down to the falls to take some pictures. After her friend took their picture she turned around and he was down on one knee asking her to marry him.
The ring is GORGEOUS. Austin designed it himself. All Lauren told him was the cut She wanted. He got her a princess cut with a twisted vine setting. She still can’t stop looking at it.
From their photographer:
They plan to get married at Larkins which is right next door to where Austin proposed. I had so much fun working with this couple. They were up for every adventure I suggested. Even walking out it to the somewhat cold river and getting some epic pictures near the falls. I absolutely loved the choices they made for their second outfit. Lauren’s little white dress was perfect for a bride to be. A not so funny story, but while we were adventuring out into the river by the falls, Austin stepped on an old pin that had been on the bottom of the river. He pulled it out and kept right on going with the session!
This couple was so precious together. They obviously have a lot of chemistry and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in September!
