Jon proposed to me on our 6 year anniversary. He bought me 6 white roses, one for each year we had been together. I was surprised and thrilled!! I immediately began planning, knowing that we would need the big details in place for all of our out-of-town family and friends sooner rather than later. We chose Stillwater, MN for the wedding location because Jon family is from Stillwater, OK (it just seemed too perfect!). And we immediately fell in love with the church – everything there was amazing, from the wedding coordinator to the pipe organ to the stained glass windows. We knew that it was where we wanted to get married. Oak Glen was also an instant decisions after seeing the space; and Bob (the banquet coordinator) was amazing. Everyone we worked with was so great! If I had it to do over again, I wouldn’t change a thing.
