Behind the Inspiration:
Heather (Blushing Design) came up with most of the inspiration for our shoot. Wanting to use local blooms and textures. All our florals were in season, sourced from local farms. We really wanted to support small and local during the pandemic. Along with showing couples that even in hard times they can pull together some magic!
Multipurpose pieces!
We created pieces that could be multipurpose and simple for a couple to move. Minimizing cost and labor. Also combined items we already owned. Such as our family’s china, candles, and our crystal collections. We included fruits into the tablescape and florals to bring an even more organic and natural feel to the shoot.
How couples should be inspired by this amazing shoot:
The most important thing we want to communicate to couples is that you don’t need to follow ANY rules. Do what is ultimately going to make you happy, think outside the box. Your day is about you coming together. Incorporate important elements from your relationship/life into your day to make it uniquely you.
Favorite elements from this shoot?
Our favorite parts of the shoot were being able to support small businesses during this pandemic. And combining our crystal collections to add a unique, rarely seen element.
