Moody Creek Engagement Session in New York
This beautiful moody creek engagement session set alongside a creek in Update New York is a bit steamy! You can tell this couple has killer style and so comfortable with each other! While the photographer did an amazing job at capturing the surroundings and the style of the couple!
About the couple:
We always knew each other through mutual friends, Vic reached out one day and asked me if I would be interested in meeting him for a drink. It was history from there. I wish there was more of a story. We had a great conversation and hit it off immediately.
Vic told me we were going to my favorite brunch place, The American Hotel in Sharon Springs, NY. On the way, he stopped at his camp because he said he had to “drop something off.” Vic got out and went into my trunk to retrieve whatever it was he had to “drop off.”
He then told me that something “spilled” and acted frantically.
Background info: a week prior he spilled something in my Jeep and we had just had it detailed. Neurotic me, jumped out of the vehicle to check out this spill and was about to lose it!
Vic was behind the Jeep on one knee with a ring of sunflowers, my favorite. Also, little did I know all our friends were waiting in a decorated limo for a day out in Saratoga, NY to celebrate. I never made it to brunch.
What they love most about each other:
What I love about Vic is how good his heart is. He would do anything for me. He would do anything for anyone really. He’s always making me laugh. Oh, and He’s got the bluest eyes and the best lips!
Vic says; I love her bubbly personality, how caring she is towards loved ones. She always puts everyone else before herself. We always make each other laugh. And to be honest, she’s my biggest fan.
The most challenging part about planning our wedding thus far:
Planning a destination wedding during a pandemic. The whole thing is challenging during these uncertain times. There’s is a light at the end of the tunnel. I always wanted to be a Beach Bride. Everything is so up in the air with Covid and travel restrictions, but we are planning right along and taking it one day at a time.
Favorite memory from this session?
Honestly, the entire session was 110% down-to-earth and relaxing. The couples that come into it who trust me to just go w/ whatever I think are the ones who are most memorable. We had great conversations while we hiked to the next spot, even when we were freezing our butts off. The temp was definitely something to remember, a whopping 11 degrees!
Other cute notes:
You can definitely see HOW MUCH these two truly love each other. They constantly made cutesy comments to each other, but still knew how to crack jokes. They seem so excited to just married this summer and THAT is what love is all about.
