New Years Wedding Celebration Ending with Firewords and Dancing until Midnight
A beautiful modern New Years Wedding that started with an emotional first look before their church ceremony. They danced the night away until midnight, with a break to watch some fireworks!
About the Couple:
Hannah and Jon met in a memorable and fantastic way, through charity work with Habitat for Humanity. Hannah and Jon talked for almost 21 hours straight on a trip to Amarillo, TX. It was the start of a lifelong friendship. Hannah fell in love with Jons service to others. Without even realizing it, his giving heart stole hers. They dated for a few years and it strengthened their relationship as they became lifelong friends.
Their Proposal Story:
Even though Hannah had small suspicions Jonathon would be proposing, she didn’t quite expect a backyard party with all their family and friends! Jonathon had set up a backyard dinner and a movie for them to watch for a romantic date. Hannah’s favorite movie, meal from their first date, and compiled video of what her family and friends love about her ended with Jonathon popping the BIG question. He got down on one knee and had a beautiful ring to showcase!
Favorite Wedding Day Memory?
Bride: My favorite part of the day was my first look with my dad. My dad had seen me in my dress several times but nothing compared to his emotional reaction when he turned around.
Groom: The reception was way more fun than I anticipated. We had so much fun dancing and eating the night away.
Advice For Couple Planning Wedding?
Bride: End every reception with fireworks!
Groom: Live in the (moment) evening! Make sure to embrace all the fun and enjoy the reception.
Were you nervous? How did you squash the nerves?
Bride: I was not nervous about getting married, I was only nervous I had forgotten some important detail. But after everything was set up and we did our first look it felt like everything was ready to go.
Groom: Yes I was nervous but surrounding myself with my family while getting ready really helped.
From the photographer:
Hannah’s dress was a statement masterpiece of the wedding. Fine beads, sparkles, and lace came together to give a true sense of elegance. “Seeing Hannah in her dress for the first time was my most anticipated moment of the day,” Jonathon stated. It was a stunning and fun-filled modern New Years Wedding day! The intimacy of having a first look captured the true love between Hannah and Jonathon.
