I fell in love with the butterfly gown from BHLDN and contacted the couple after having the vision of an elopement in bright, sunny Joshua Tree. I wanted to keep it minimalistic and romantic – bright and full of love! I wanted the love of the couple to shine through more than anything else!

So we planned a simple “elopement” – no flowers, no fanfare. Just two people deeply in love in the desert. What I wanted to convey to future couples (particularly now!!) is that LOVE WINS. EVERY TIME. Love can’t be slowed by anything! And when you take everything away, two people are still in love.
