White Mountains Fall Engagement Session in New Hampshire!
This simple engagement session on top of the White Mountains in New Hampshire is so sweet! Love how they pop out of the photos in the beautiful blue dress and crisp white shirt! A simple way to pop from all the natural beauty around them.
A note from the photographer:
There are few experiences quite like fall in New England. The crisp air and deliciously bright colors are like no other and it’s no wonder people come from all over the world to see and feel the glorious New England fall.
In preparation for their fall wedding in Boston Kim and Kyle wanted to take their engagement photos in the White Mountains in New Hampshire in October and I had no problem hopping on a plane to make that happen. I love getting special requests like this from clients that give me the opportunity to go someplace new and have fun!
We loaded up the car with gear, outfit changes, and Jax the dog and headed for the mountains! We spent the whole day driving and stopping wherever we felt pulled and finally landed at the Loon Mountain Resort, Kim and Kyle’s favorite skiing destination, to finish the session by the riverbed.
The couple is good friends with their photographer she was elated when she got the text message with the photo of the ring. Just after Kyle proposed in one of their favorite places in Boston just over a year ago.
She jumped at the chance to photograph their engagement photos in the White Mountains! Then their wedding later in Boston!
A little more from Sarandon Mara Photography:
The day started on a mountaintop with an insane view of the fall foliage. And a breeze that made for the best photo ops. I love how wind can add movement and depth to a photo! I thought the photos we took at that location were going to be my favorite from the day. But it just got better from there. Their session was a marathon and we spent an entire day driving down through the mountains. Stopping whenever and wherever inspiration struck.
We finished the day down by the river at Loon Mountain Resort, which is one of their favorite places to go skiing together and also happened to be the perfect place to catch the golden hour light before it disappeared behind the mountains.
